About Bob
Robert (Bob) moved to Arizona with his wife Phyllis in 2002 from
Ohio. He served the Westerville City Schools in Westerville, Ohio
for 30 years and retired in 2002. Phyllis also retired from the
Westerville City Schools where she served as Special Education
Director, a High School Principal and a Middle School principal
during her tenure. Bob and Phyllis have three grown children, all
college graduates.
Bob’s most recent work in Arizona includes; Career and College
Counseling for students at Primavera On-Line High School and Arizona
Virtual Academy. He also works as a baseball consultant, instructor
and coach. Bob has been independently contracted by families to
assist many athletes and students with their college planning process
and matriculation while living in Arizona.
Bob has more than 30 years of experience in college counseling and
placement in all forms of post high school educational programs. His
responsibilities while counseling at Westerville North High School in
Ohio included; College Placement Coordinator, (academics and
athletics), Career Education Liaison, Student-At-Risk Coordinator,
National and Local Scholarship Coordinator, Financial Aid Workshop
Coordinator, Department Chair for a 12 member guidance staff,
development of the master class schedule for 2200 students and over
100 teachers, personal counseling for over 400 students per year,
N.C.A.A. liaison, and test coordinator for ACT and SAT. He also has
served on numerous College Advisory Boards which has allowed him to
meet many influential people in college admission offices around the
country.
Finally, in Bob’s spare time at Westerville North, in addition to his
guidance duties, he was the Head Baseball Coach and a Varsity
Assistant football Coach.
